2023 Ram 2500 Engine Options

The Ram 2500 is a popular full-size pickup truck and part of the Ram line of pickup trucks. The Ram 2500 was originally introduced in 1994 as the heavy-duty alternative to the popular Dodge Ram 1500. The Ram 2500 is built at the Saltillo Truck Assembly Plant in Coahuila, Mexico. The 2023 Ram 2500 is in its third generation, which began with the 2019 model year. The main competitors of the Ram 2500 are the Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and GMC Sierra 2500HD.

Some of the best features of the Ram 2500 include its available four-wheel drive, its towing capacity of up to 19,780 pounds, and its payload capacity of up to 4,050 pounds. Additionally, the Ram 2500 offers a variety of engine options, including a 3.0-liter turbo-diesel engine that produces up to 480 pound-feet of torque.

For the 2023 model year, Ram has made a number of changes to the 2500. First, the Laramie Longhorn trim level has been removed from the lineup. Additionally, a new Night Edition package is available for the Laramie and Longhorn trim levels. This package adds blacked-out exterior accents and 20-inch black wheels.

The 2023 Ram 2500 is a highly capable full-size pickup that comes with the latest technology and offers a sleek interior and exterior look. In this article, we will explore the engine options on the 2023 Ram 2500.
